Mughal Energy Limited (MEL) achieved the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for its captive hybrid power plant. This subsidiary of Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited successfully commissioned the main 31.50MW turbine.
The plant is now fully operational and contributing to the power grid following the completion of all testing. This facility provides a stable power source for the company’s industrial operations.
The project aims to reduce energy costs and improve reliability for its parent company, a major player in the steel industry.
