MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB) launched Atlas Agent Engine at its Investor Day to simplify the development and deployment of production-ready AI agents. The platform provides a unified layer for execution, memory and governance, addressing challenges such as security and persistent memory as companies scale AI agents.
Atlas Agent Engine integrates with MongoDB’s Atlas data platform and supports multiple AI models and frameworks across cloud environments. MongoDB says the vendor-neutral platform can help developers avoid building a separate technology stack and accelerate AI agent adoption in enterprise applications. The service is now in public preview and will use consumption-based pricing.
