Shares of Lightwave Logic (LWLG) and other optical equipment makers rose after Lumentum (LITE) CEO Michael Hurlston said the company’s components are sold out through early 2029. Robust demand from technology companies building faster AI data centers is driving orders.
Lumentum cannot meet a substantial portion of demand for some products through next year and into 2028. Lightwave Logic gained 1.57% in premarket trading.
The move highlights the role of optical components in the rapidly growing AI infrastructure market.
