Intuitive Machines appointed Dr. Christopher Scolese to its Board of Directors, effective October 22, 2026. Scolese served as Director of the National Reconnaissance Office from 2019 to 2026 and held senior roles at NASA, including Director of the Goddard Space Flight Center and acting NASA Administrator.
The company said Scolese’s expertise will help guide its expansion in serving commercial, civil and national security customers.
His appointment follows the resignation of Michael Blitzer, who had served on the board since Intuitive Machines went public in February 2023. The company said Blitzer’s departure was not the result of any disagreement.
