Lumen Technologies and Microsoft expanded their co-selling collaboration to help businesses connect distributed data, applications and infrastructure—a key challenge in enterprise AI adoption. The companies aim to align network transformation with Microsoft Azure modernization plans and provide the high-performance network foundation needed to scale AI workloads.
Under the agreement, Lumen will integrate its full suite of cloud networking and application connectivity capabilities with Microsoft Azure, making them available through Microsoft’s cloud and AI ecosystem.
Lumen shares (LUMN) rose 1.8% in premarket trading on the day of the announcement.
