LightPath Technologies received an additional $6.3 million follow-on purchase order from a leading, unnamed supplier of counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) and defense systems. The order covers continued supply of optical assemblies for the customer’s counter-drone technology.
The award follows a $13 million order from the same customer, announced in July 2026. Since July 1, orders from this customer have exceeded $19 million.
That is more than double the amount the customer ordered during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The repeat business points to strong defense-market demand for counter-drone capabilities.
