Eli Lilly announced new Phase 1 data for investigational ovarian cancer drug sofetabart mipitecan (Sofe-M), presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Congress. Combined with bevacizumab, Sofe-M achieved a confirmed objective response rate of 79.3% in patients with platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer. The disease control rate was 100%.
Clinical activity was maintained in patients with prior PARP inhibitor exposure, a group that typically has poor outcomes. Sofe-M is advancing into a global Phase 3 evaluation program.
One report said Eli Lilly shares rose 0.4% in after-hours trading on Friday before the Saturday announcement.
