Laramide Resources Ltd. has acquired exploration licenses in Sweden’s Hotagen and Arjeplog-Arvidsjaur uranium provinces. This strategic move follows Sweden’s recent legal reforms that permit uranium mining to resume. The acquired licenses include areas with historical deposits such as Kläppibäcken and Pleutajokk.

President and CEO Marc Henderson highlighted the Swedish government’s support for nuclear energy as a critical factor in the global uranium sector. This expansion complements Laramide’s existing project portfolio in Australia and the United States.

The company recently completed a $5 million private placement. These proceeds will provide working capital for general corporate purposes.
