SEALSQ Corp announced its VaultIC408 secure element platform received FIPS 140-3 Level 3 validation from the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This certification is a critical requirement for cryptographic modules used in sensitive government and regulated industry applications.
The validation confirms the platform meets high standards for physical security, authentication, and tamper resistance. SEALSQ is targeting the platform for use in government, defense, critical infrastructure, and the industrial Internet of Things (IoT).
The company also provided an updated timetable for the certification of its post-quantum security products.
