Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has broken ground on two advanced facilities in Odon, Indiana. The Department of Defense’s Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment program is providing $35 million in funding, and Kratos is also making a significant investment.
The project includes the 183,000-square-foot Indiana Radar Integration Complex, which will provide long-term support for the U.S. Navy’s AN/SPY-1 radar systems.
The second facility, the Helios Arc Jet & Laser complex, will test thermal protection systems for hypersonic vehicles and develop directed energy technologies. Together, the facilities are designed to strengthen U.S. military readiness and address critical gaps in the nation’s defense industrial base.
