Krystal Biotech, Inc. presented positive pilot study data for its KB113 dermatology program at the 14th Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) Annual Conference, held October 15-17, 2026.
The treatment for Gorlin syndrome resulted in the regression of over 80% of assessed basal cell carcinoma lesions.
Significant regression also occurred in lesions that were not directly injected, suggesting a systemic immune-mediated effect.
Patients tolerated the intratumoral immunotherapy well, with all adverse events reported as mild to moderate and transient.
Krystal Biotech has initiated discussions with the FDA regarding the next steps for the advanced clinical development of KB113.
