Kraft Heinz has paused its previously announced plan to split into two companies. New CEO Steve Cahillane said the company will instead focus its resources on returning to profitable growth and addressing operational challenges.

The shift came alongside disappointing fourth-quarter results and a weak outlook for fiscal 2026. Kraft Heinz projects organic net sales will decline 1.5% to 3.5% in 2026.

To support its turnaround, the company will invest an additional $600 million in marketing, sales and research and development.
