Keel Infrastructure proposed a gigawatt-scale data center campus in Scrubgrass Township, Pennsylvania. The project redevelops a former waste coal-fired power plant for artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Keel Infrastructure, formerly Bitfarms, acquired the Venango County site in March 2025. The company is transitioning its business model from Bitcoin mining to AI data centers.

Construction is scheduled to occur between 2027 and 2032. Partial operations at the facility could begin in 2029. The completed campus could create 600 full-time technical jobs.

Keel has launched community engagement sessions to address local concerns. Residents cited noise pollution from previous Bitcoin mining as a primary concern.
