Kasapreko PLC began trading on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on June 15, 2026, under the ticker symbol KASA.

Its Initial Public Offering (IPO) was oversubscribed by 146%. The IPO attracted bids totaling approximately GH¢1.73 billion, exceeding its GH¢700 million target.

Strong investor demand involved nearly 19,000 applicants. This highlights renewed confidence in Ghana's capital markets. Kasapreko is the third company to complete an IPO on the GSE in the last six months, signaling a potential resurgence in market activity after a prolonged quiet period. On its first day of trading, the company's share price rose 10% from its IPO price of GH¢1.20 to GH¢1.32.

Proceeds from the offering will fund the company's expansion. This includes constructing a new production facility at Adeiso. The facility will increase capacity for bottled water and carbonated soft drinks. This move is part of Kasapreko's strategy to bolster its position in the competitive beverage market and support its growth across Africa.
