Anthropic has selected JPMorgan Chase to lead the U.S. retail portion of its highly anticipated initial public offering. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are the IPO’s main underwriters, while JPMorgan will manage share sales to individual investors in the United States.
Anthropic is reportedly considering allocating 15% to 20% of its IPO shares to retail investors. The final percentage is still under discussion.
JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon is expected to be personally involved in the outreach campaign to individual investors. The role puts JPMorgan in a prominent position in what could be one of the largest tech IPOs in history.
Investor valuations for Anthropic range from $1.4 trillion to $1.75 trillion.
