Johnson & Johnson Reports 50% Five-Year Progression-Free Survival With CARVYKTI

Johnson & Johnson announced long-term follow-up results from the Phase 2 CARTITUDE-2 study of CARVYKTI. Half of the patients with early-line relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who received a single infusion were alive and progression-free five years later, without maintenance therapy.

The findings suggest CARVYKTI may provide durable disease control when used earlier in treatment. They do not establish that the therapy cures multiple myeloma.
