Johnson & Johnson released final overall survival data from the Phase 3 PAPILLON study for its cancer treatment, Rybrevant. The trial evaluated Rybrevant combined with chemotherapy as a first-line treatment for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) carrying EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations.
Results presented at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer showed the combination therapy extended median overall survival to 34.3 months. Standard chemotherapy alone resulted in a median survival of 27.9 months.
This data represents the longest median overall survival reported to date for this patient group. The findings build upon previous results showing significant improvements in progression-free survival.
