Johnson & Johnson reported positive 48-week results from the Phase 3 FUZION study of Tremfya (guselkumab) in adults with fistulizing Crohn’s disease, a severe complication of the condition. The results were presented at the 2026 United European Gastroenterology Week and showed that fistula remission was maintained or improved through week 48.

Among patients receiving 100 mg every eight weeks, combined fistula remission—based on clinical and MRI assessments—was 28% at week 24. It rose to 35% at week 48.

Results for patients receiving 200 mg every four weeks remained consistent. Tremfya’s safety profile over 48 weeks was consistent with its known profile in Crohn’s disease.
