Johnson & Johnson released a new model-based analysis of its Phase 3 MajesTEC-3 study. The analysis suggests its combination therapy for multiple myeloma could significantly extend patient survival.

The analysis estimates 87% of patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma could achieve a mortality risk comparable to the general population. This applies when treated with TECVAYLI® and DARZALEX FASPRO® as early as the second line. The general population comparison is matched for age.

The statistical modeling, using actual trial survival data, projected median overall survival. The combination treatment could be nearly four times longer than the standard of care.

A separate analysis indicated a 90% reduction in the risk of disease progression drove this survival benefit. These findings support the immunotherapy combination's potential to reshape long-term patient expectations.
