IonQ has completed its acquisition of Zero Trust security firm Elisity in an all-stock deal. The transaction was valued at $1.15 billion in common stock at closing. Sellers may receive up to an additional $150 million based on future revenue milestones.
IonQ first announced the definitive acquisition agreement on October 12, 2026.
The merger combines IonQ’s work in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum key distribution (QKD) with Elisity’s identity-based microsegmentation software. The integrated platform aims to help enterprise and government clients defend against current cyberattacks and prepare for future threats posed by quantum computing.
