Intel expands its Core Ultra processor lineup. The expansion powers a new category of premium, AI-focused laptops from Google, branded "Googlebooks." Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo will launch the initial devices. These laptops will feature Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. The collaboration aims to enhance performance and on-device artificial intelligence capabilities.

Core Ultra Series 3 processors utilize Intel's 18A process technology. They integrate a CPU, GPU, and a neural processing unit (NPU). This design handles AI workloads more efficiently. The architecture improves multitasking and power efficiency. It supports features like Google's Gemini assistant and other AI-driven tools. The new laptops will also feature advanced connectivity options. These include Intel Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt. The first devices are expected in October 2026.
