JP Morgan upgraded Intel to Neutral from Underweight, citing improved execution and growing demand for AI computing. The analyst said rising agentic AI workloads and tight supply of leading-edge silicon could lead to positive earnings revisions. Intel shares rose about 4% in premarket trading.

Intel also announced day-0 support for Meta Platforms’ new 816 billion-parameter AI model, Muse Spark Open, across its Xeon processors and upcoming GPU D-series. The development strengthens Intel’s position in the enterprise AI infrastructure market as demand grows for hardware capable of running complex models.
