Intel and Oracle announced a multiyear collaboration to expand the use of Intel Xeon processors in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The companies aim to meet growing demand for enterprise applications and artificial intelligence workloads, including AI agents and inference.
The expanded alliance will coordinate technology roadmaps and processor capacity planning to support OCI’s growth. Planned offerings include OCI X14, based on Intel’s next-generation server processor, codenamed Diamond Rapids, which is expected to enhance AI acceleration and general-purpose computing.
The collaboration builds on a decades-long relationship. The companies aim to give customers a cost-effective, trusted foundation for scaling AI operations and help enterprises deploy AI more quickly and efficiently by combining Intel’s processor advancements with OCI’s infrastructure.
