Portland-based Mueon, a semiconductor systems company, has raised $65 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Maverick Silicon and included participation from Intel Capital and several other investors, bringing Mueon's total funding to over $80 million.

Mueon is developing a modular platform for AI and hyperscale computing called Cubelets™, which are designed to significantly increase compute density in data centers. The company claims its architecture, which integrates compute, memory, power delivery, and thermal management, can provide up to 10 times the computing capacity within the same server rack footprint. The new capital will be used to expand its teams, advance the platform toward production, and deepen customer engagements.
