Infosys has expanded its collaboration with U.S. financial services company Truist Financial Corp. to operate and scale the bank’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. The agreement consolidates services previously managed by multiple vendors into a single, integrated model.

Infosys will onboard more than 1,000 Truist employees this month. Under a build-operate-transfer model, Infosys will manage the center before it transitions fully to Truist’s control after several years.

The partnership will use Infosys’ AI-first capabilities, including its Topaz platform, to enhance Truist’s technology, data, and operations. The initiative aims to reduce Truist’s reliance on third-party suppliers, manage delivery complexity, and build a dedicated talent pool.
