Infosys shares rose more than 5.7% on Tuesday, October 13, amid positive sentiment across India’s IT sector.

Speaking at a forum, CEO Salil Parekh said AI-related services could account for almost half of Infosys’s work. He projected that this could happen within the next two to three years.

The forecast added to investor confidence, alongside recent AI initiatives. These include an expanded partnership with ABN AMRO and an enterprise AI center established with Columbia University. Both initiatives are centered on the Infosys Topaz AI platform.
