Ideaya Biosciences initiated the Part 2 monotherapy expansion of its Phase 1/2 clinical trial for IDE892. This PRMT5 inhibitor targets MTAP-deleted solid tumors, specifically non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
The company launched the expansion phase after achieving projected efficacious target human exposures. Dose escalation continues in the trial as researchers have not yet reached the maximum tolerated dose.
Ideaya is currently exploring potential combination studies for the IDE892 program. The company scheduled an R&D day for the fourth quarter of 2026 to discuss its broader clinical pipeline.
