ImmunityBio announced the publication in the Journal of Urology of long-term results from its Phase 2/3 trial of ANKTIVA plus BCG in patients with a type of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
The trial reported a 71% complete response rate. Median complete response duration was 26.6 months. Some responses lasted more than 53 months.
At three years, 84% of patients who responded to treatment had avoided bladder removal (cystectomy). Disease-specific survival was 98.2%.
No Grade 4 or 5 treatment-related adverse events were reported.
