SK Hynix’s U.S. subsidiary, Solidigm, is reportedly exploring an initial public offering that could value the NAND flash memory unit at up to $150 billion. Sources say the company has held pitch meetings with investment banks. The IPO could raise around $15 billion and become the largest-ever U.S. semiconductor listing.

SK Hynix formed Solidigm after acquiring Intel’s NAND and SSD business for approximately $9 billion. The deal was announced in 2020.

Solidigm has not confirmed concrete IPO plans. The company said it is reviewing various options to enhance its competitiveness. The potential valuation would significantly exceed those of other recent major chip IPOs.
