SK Hynix’s U.S. subsidiary, Solidigm, is reportedly considering an initial public offering that could value the company at as much as $150 billion, according to sources.

The NAND flash memory and data-center solid-state drive maker could raise up to $15 billion. The offering could become the largest-ever U.S. semiconductor listing.

SK Hynix formed Solidigm after acquiring Intel’s NAND business for approximately $9 billion. The deal was announced in 2020.

The potential IPO is seen as a way to capitalize on strong investor demand for companies involved in AI infrastructure. Plans remain in the early stages. Solidigm has reportedly met with investment banks to discuss potential roles in an offering as early as next year.
