Spain-based Multiverse Computing secured a $570 million (€500M) Series C funding round. The company reached a pre-money valuation of $1.7 billion. Forgepoint Capital International, BNP Paribas's Solar Impulse Venture Fund, and Bullhound Capital co-led the investment. New backers include HP Inc., Orange Ventures, and Santander Alternative Investments, bringing total funding to approximately $800 million.

The company uses quantum-inspired technology to improve artificial intelligence efficiency. Its CompactifAI software reduces large language model sizes by up to 95%. This compression enables complex AI to run faster on edge devices like drones and cameras. The technology also significantly lowers the operational costs of running AI models.

Multiverse Computing will use the capital to expand its model library and invest in sovereign AI infrastructure. The funding will also fuel global expansion into Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
