Robinhood has begun rolling out crypto perpetual futures to eligible U.S. customers as it seeks to attract more active traders. The contracts cover eight digital assets, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, with leverage of up to 10x. The six other supported assets offer up to 3x leverage.
Perpetual futures have no expiration date, allowing traders to hold leveraged long or short positions indefinitely. Robinhood offers the service through Robinhood Derivatives, which uses infrastructure from crypto exchange Bitstamp. Robinhood acquired Bitstamp in June 2025.
The rollout is part of Robinhood’s broader effort to expand services for advanced traders and follows a similar product launch for European customers. The company said it would make the product available to eligible U.S. customers over the coming months.
