Robinhood Markets is expanding retail investors’ access to private markets through publicly traded venture funds. Its Robinhood Ventures Fund I (RVI) invested $30 million in Erebor Bank, a technology-focused lender co-founded by Palmer Luckey. The investment gives Robinhood customers exposure to a pre-IPO company.
Robinhood launched its second fund, Robinhood Ventures Fund II (RVII), in August 2026. RVII raised more than $225 million and focuses primarily on early-stage startups from the Y Combinator accelerator program.
Both funds trade on the New York Stock Exchange. They are available to investors without accreditation requirements or minimum investments, lowering traditional barriers to venture capital investing.
