Holcim completed its acquisition of Xella Group, a European provider of sustainable building solutions. The transaction includes established brands such as Ytong and Silka. This move supports Holcim’s NextGen Growth strategy to expand its high-value building solutions and strengthen its leadership in sustainable construction.
Separately, BNP Paribas upgraded Holcim to outperform from neutral. The bank raised its price target to CHF 92. This represents a 19% increase from the previous target. The new valuation implies a 21% upside.
Analysts cited stronger-than-expected earnings momentum and a robust balance sheet as primary drivers. The upgrade also reflects tailwinds from European decarbonization efforts. BNP Paribas raised its earnings-per-share estimates for 2026 and 2027. The bank forecasts double-digit organic EBIT growth for the company.
