Alphabet’s Google announced the worldwide availability of its Gemini 4 Argon AI model on October 13, 2026. Designed for complex, multi-step tasks, Argon is aimed at developers and enterprise clients in fields including software development, finance, and cybersecurity. Google positions it for sustained reasoning, or “deep work,” beyond single-query responses.
Introductory pricing will remain in effect through November 30, after which prices will increase.
In a related move to attract developers, Google said users will be able to publish their own AI-generated Android apps on the Google Play Store for personal use, lowering barriers to app creation.
Alphabet also faced a securities-fraud class-action lawsuit related to earlier disclosures about its Gemini 3.5 Pro model.
