GE Vernova JV Advances BWRX-300 as TVA Gets First U.S. Construction Permit

GE Vernova’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share for the fourth quarter of 2026. The dividend is payable on November 24, 2026, to shareholders of record as of October 27, 2026.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued the first-ever U.S. construction permit for the BWRX-300 small modular reactor (SMR), developed by GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy, the company’s joint venture. The permit was granted to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) for a planned reactor at the Clinch River site in Tennessee.

The approval marks a key regulatory step toward deploying next-generation nuclear technology in the United States.
