GEK Terna S.A. is bidding for Greece’s largest healthcare Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project.

The contract carries a total value of €434.68 million including VAT. The project involves the construction and long-term maintenance of a new major hospital.

Authorities expect to select a temporary contractor in October. GEK Terna competes against AVAX and the Aktor–Metlen consortium for the award.

The Prime Minister has designated this infrastructure project as a personal commitment. The plan mandates a five-year construction period.

A 25-year contract for maintenance and operational support follows the construction phase.
