TechnipFMC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BP to establish a framework for supplying 20,000-psi (20K) subsea production systems for BP’s Paleogene projects in the Gulf of Mexico.

The companies will identify early opportunities and advance technology development to improve project delivery and schedule certainty. Their work will also focus on standardizing subsea equipment and improving project outcomes.

TechnipFMC has previously been awarded contracts for its 20K subsea technology for BP’s Kaskida and Tiber projects. The MoU follows several other recent subsea contract wins for TechnipFMC, pointing to continued momentum in securing new business.
