Freshworks to Acquire Torii to Track SaaS and AI Costs

Freshworks has agreed to acquire Torii, a SaaS management platform provider. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026; financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition aims to address limited visibility and unmanaged costs as large organizations adopt more SaaS and AI tools.

Integrating Torii’s technology will expand Freshservice, Freshworks’ IT service management platform. It will give IT and finance teams a unified view of their software and AI inventory, usage and costs. Torii can track AI consumption down to the token level, helping organizations forecast costs, manage budgets and reduce risks from unmanaged applications.
