Fermi Inc. received its second Siemens Energy F-class natural gas turbine and two generators. The equipment arrived at its "Project Matador" energy and AI campus in Texas. This delivery marks a milestone in Fermi's strategy to build its own power generation infrastructure.

This approach aims to circumvent a critical bottleneck in the AI industry: access to power. Surging electricity demand has pushed manufacturing lead times for new power generation equipment years into the future. By securing turbines and other assets now, Fermi aims to accelerate its development timeline ahead of competitors still trying to secure power.
