Firefly Aerospace signed a multi-launch agreement with the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC). The contract covers two missions from the Esrange Space Center using Firefly’s Alpha rocket.
Missions are scheduled to begin no earlier than 2028. These flights will serve Swedish national security requirements and offer rideshare capacity for commercial clients.
The agreement establishes orbital launch capabilities from mainland Europe. It builds on an existing partnership that has already finalized infrastructure and regulatory frameworks. Financial details were not disclosed.
