Billionaire Femi Otedola acquired 1.779 billion additional shares in First HoldCo Plc. He executed the transaction through Calvados Global Services Limited at N124.90 per share. The total purchase value reached approximately N222.21 billion.
This acquisition increases Otedola’s total ownership from 21.96% to approximately 26%. He remains the largest single investor in the parent company of First Bank.
This transaction marks his second major investment in July 2026. He previously purchased N77.58 billion worth of shares earlier this month.
Otedola’s total stake in First HoldCo is now valued at approximately N1.47 trillion.
