Fincantieri signed contracts with Viking to build two new ocean cruise ships. The agreement falls into the large category with a value between €500 million and €1 billion. These figures represent a range of approximately $585 million to $1.17 billion. Viking initiated the order by exercising options granted in April 2025.

Fincantieri will construct the vessels at its Ancona shipyard in Italy. The schedule sets delivery for both ships in 2032. Each vessel will have a gross tonnage of approximately 54,300.

The ships will accommodate 998 passengers. Each vessel includes 499 cabins. This latest agreement brings the total partnership to 28 vessels.
