First Atlantic Nickel & Cobalt Corp. reported results from its Pipestone XL project in central Newfoundland.
Drill hole XL-26-16 intersected 525 meters of continuous, large-grain, visible awaruite. This nickel-iron-cobalt alloy was present along the entire drilled length of the company's deepest hole to date.
The hole was positioned 445 meters south of the initial Alloy Max discovery hole. Drilling ended while still in mineralization, which indicates the zone remains open at depth.
These results confirm a 445-meter strike length. The findings suggest significant expansion potential within the project's 4-kilometer target area.
