enCore Energy completed the previously announced distribution of 35,000,000 common shares of Verdera Energy Corp. as a special dividend. The distribution took place on September 30, 2026. It went to enCore shareholders of record as of September 25, 2026.
The distribution gives enCore shareholders a direct ownership interest in Verdera and its portfolio of in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium assets in New Mexico. CEO Rich Little said the move fulfills enCore’s commitment to put value directly into shareholders’ hands.
After the distribution, enCore retained 15,029,332 Verdera shares. That stake gives enCore continued exposure to Verdera’s progress while it focuses on its core operations in South Texas and South Dakota.
