Elbit Systems has reorganized its U.S. operations into a new entity named Twenty-Six Defense. This wholly owned subsidiary of the Israeli parent company will be headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. The restructuring aims to expand Elbit's American presence through increased domestic manufacturing and engineering.

Twenty-Six Defense will operate as Elbit’s primary U.S. segment. The company currently employs approximately 3,300 people. This new structure provides a distinct American identity to help secure U.S. government contracts.

The company’s U.S. business recorded a 17% growth rate in the second quarter of 2026. Luke Savoie will serve as president and CEO of the new entity. Savoie stated the launch reinforces the company's commitment to supporting U.S. warfighters.
