The homes of defense company executives, including executives at Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems, were reportedly targeted in vandalism attacks attributed to pro-Palestinian activists. A group calling itself The List is said to be behind the incidents, which took place in locations across the UK, including South Queensferry and Dunfermline in Scotland.
The attacks involved slashed car tires, red paint thrown on homes and phrases such as “baby killers” spray-painted on properties. The activists say they targeted more than half a dozen senior employees at various defense firms, accusing them of aiding the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The actions mark an escalation from previous protests that primarily targeted manufacturing sites and defense facilities.
Police Scotland is reportedly investigating. Counterterrorism officers are believed to be supporting the inquiry because of the coordinated attacks across the UK. The group allegedly posted images of the attacks on a website registered in Iceland and said it had compiled personal information on people associated with the defense industry.
