Elbit Systems has been awarded a $235 million contract to supply advanced rocket artillery systems to an undisclosed European country. The deal was arranged through a government-to-government agreement with Israel’s Ministry of Defense. Elbit will fulfill the contract over three years.
The contract includes Elbit’s Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS) and EXTRA-MR (Medium Range) precision-guided supersonic rockets. The PULS launcher can be adapted to different platforms and fire a range of munitions. EXTRA-MR rockets are designed to strike high-value targets at ranges of up to 80 kilometers.
The agreement also covers related platforms and integrated logistics support.
