An EQT Corporation subsidiary signed a long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) agreement with Lithuanian energy firm Ignitis for 2027 through 2036. Ignitis will purchase 10 LNG cargoes annually following a competitive tender process. This volume represents approximately 1 terawatt-hour of energy per year.
The partnership aims to diversify and secure the natural gas supply for Lithuania’s residential consumers. Pricing for the cargoes will be linked to both the U.S. Henry Hub and European TTF gas benchmarks.
The deal remains subject to approval from Lithuania's Commission for the Coordination of the Protection of Objects Important to National Security. EQT corporate governance must also finalize the agreement. The company confirmed the deal will not impact its 2026 Adjusted EBITDA or investment guidance.
