Enphase Energy opened U.S. pre-orders for its first commercial battery storage system, the IQ Battery C80. This expansion moves the company beyond residential solar into the commercial and industrial energy storage market.
The all-in-one, AC-coupled system delivers 80 kWh of usable energy. It scales to support applications ranging from 80 kWh to 2 MWh.
The IQ Battery C80 integrates with Enphase commercial microinverters for a complete solar-plus-storage solution. The system utilizes lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry.
Enphase will offer two three-phase configurations for commercial and multifamily properties. Shipments are scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027.
